The Kayo NRL Community Awards 2020 is a significant opportunity for the game to honour some of the unsung heroes that quietly go about their business, making a significant and positive impact on the lives of locals and improving the game of rugby league.
In a year like no other and regardless of whether a ball has been kicked or a whistle blown, now is the time to call out those around you and nominate them for recognition as a Volunteer or Grassroots Club of the Year.
The NRL Volunteer of the Year will have provided exceptional service to the game and made a measurable difference in their community. This year’s award will include nominees that have demonstrated exceptional support in the advancement and promotion of Rugby League across varied community and social platforms, such as (but not limited to) education settings, gender equality, diversity and inclusion.
The Grassroots Club of the Year will be presented to a Rugby League Club that has fostered participation and enjoyment at all levels, has become an integral part of their community, and has shown innovation in administration.
