Registrations are to be completed through the Munchkin League website. 

Children registering for a Child Care Centre are able to join at any time. 

At locations outside a Child Care Centre, registrations will be finalised by Week 4 of the program. No further registrations will be accepted after this time.

Casual sessions can be made to the discretion of the coordinator and subject to availability. Casual sessions may incur an additional cost.



Munchkin League sessions are $11/per week payable via direct debit. 

Direct debits must be returned by the second week of participation. In the event of payment details not being received by this time, the registration will be cancelled.

Child Care Centres: An upfront payment of $22 is required upon registration. Payments will continue weekly until the cardholder requests to stop the payments. A minimum of eight weeks participation in the program is required. Two weeks’ notice in writing is required to cease payments and cease the program. 

Other Locations: An upfront payment of $22 is required upon registration. Payments will continue weekly for six (6) weeks.


Declined Payments:

In the event of payments being declined for 2 weeks consecutively, registration will be suspended immediately until further notice or until payment is received in full and up to date. Should a payment be declined, the payment will be taken out the following week along with the next instalment.



In the event of a child missing a class due to illness or absence, no refunds will be given. Where possible, Munchkin League will offer a make-up class at an alternate venue within 2 weeks of the missed date. It is the responsibility of the parents to contact the coordinator to arrange this.


Trial sessions:

All children new to the Munchkin League program are entitled to one free trial session. Should the parent/guardian decide to register their child after this session, the full fee for the eight week program must be paid.


Wet Weather:

In the event of wet weather the Gold Coast City Council will notify Junior Gold Coast Rugby League of any field closures. Where possible the program will be run under cover or inside. Should the program need to be cancelled, the Munchkin League Facebook page will be updated.

Should the program be cancelled due to weather, the program will be extended at the end of the eight weeks for a maximum of 2 weeks.


First Aid:

All Munchkin League program deliverers hold current First Aid and CPR certificates and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates. 



1. Definitions

1.1 "Carer" means the person / persons who attend the course or any part of it, with the Participants

1.2 "Parent" means a parent or legal guardian of each Participant who will be responsible for the payment of the Fees and who is the contracting party to this contract, 1.3 "National Rugby League Limited " means the company with whom you have entered into this agreement,

1.4 "Program" means the Munchkin League program the Participant will be attending or registering to attend,

1.5 "Registration " means the enrolment or re-enrolment of the Participant in the Program,

1.6 "Fee" means the monetary cost per course as specified within the online registration process or ‘Payment Option’ form,

1.7 "Program Deliverer" means the individual(s), employed by National Rugby League Limited to deliver the Program. Whilst every effort will be taken to maintain the consistency of the Deliverers during the Program, National Rugby League Limited unreservedly retain the right to change the delivering staff where necessary.

1.8 "Premises" means the premises where the Program takes place

1.9 "Participant" means the child attending the Program, whose details are specified by the Parent or Carerupon Registration,

1.10 “Terms" means the terms and conditions set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by National Rugby League and the Parent.

1.11 The title "Munchkin League" where used in this document refers to the Program run by National Rugby League Limited that the Participant is attending or registering to attend and no other program or entity.

2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

2.1 All agreements relating to the delivery of the Program by National Rugby League Limited to the Participant are subject to these Terms to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

2.2 No variation or addition to the Terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing by National Rugby League Limited and the Parent. 2.3 The Terms shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Parent upon full or part payment of the Fee by or on behalf of the Parent. Any Fee payment made by the Carer shall be deemed to have been made on behalf of the Parent.

2.4 The Parent and/or Carer agrees to keep the content of the Program confidential and not to copy or use any aspect of the Program directly or indirectly. The Parent and/or Carer agrees not to directly or indirectly manage, operate or assist in the organisation of any business which competes with the Program while the Participant is registered with National Rugby League Limited and for a period of two years afterwards.

3. Fee and Payment

3.1 The Parent shall pay the Fee as scheduled to National Rugby League Limited

3.2 The Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances whatsoever except with the prior written agreement of National Rugby League Limited, unless the Participant has attended the first session of their Program and given notice that they will not be continuing to attend further sessions within 24 hours of attending the first session, in which case any remaining Program Fees paid will be refunded in full.

3.3 If sessions are cancelled as a result of an “Act of God” (e.g. disruption resulting from extreme weather conditions, earthquakes, etc), strikes, terrorist activity, or where local authorities/public guidance advise that classes should be temporarily suspended for health or other reasons, National Rugby League Limited will undertake best efforts to re-schedule the sessions missed. No refunds will be given under these circumstances. 

4. Cancellation

4.1 National Rugby League Limited may cancel this contract at any time before the Participant commences the Program for any reason whatsoever. National Rugby League Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from such cancellation.

4.2 In the event of cancellation by National Rugby League Limited prior to the commencement of the Program by the Participant, National Rugby League Limited will refund any fees for outstanding Programs.

4.3 The Parent/Carer understands that sessions will be delivered consecutively. If the Participant cannot attend a session the Parent and/ or Carer should contact the Program Deliverer in advance to discuss available options.

5. Parent's Responsibility

5.1 The Parent warrants and represents that:

5.1.1 The information provided at Registration (whether or not completed and/or signed by the Parent) is accurate in all respects and the Parent will notify National Rugby League Limited of any change in such information immediately.

5.1.2 When attending the Program, neither the Participant nor the Carer will be suffering from any contagious illness, disease or anything similar thereto.

5.2 The Parent acknowledges and agrees that the Participant shall be deemed to be under the direction, care and control of the Carer throughout the Program and the Carer shall be responsible for the welfare and conduct of the Participant throughout the Program and whilst the Participant is on the Premises.

5.3 The Parent shall indemnify and keep indemnified National Rugby League Limited against all loss (including loss of profit), liability, costs and expenses which National Rugby League Limited shall incur directly or indirectly as a consequence of any action or inaction of the Parent, the Carer or the Participant.

6. Discipline

6.1 In the event that National Rugby League determines the behaviour of the Participant and/or the Carer to be unacceptable, National Rugby League Limited shall be entitled to exclude the Participant and the Carer (or either of them) from the Program for such period as National Rugby League Limited shall (in its entire discretion) determine.

6.2 The standard of behaviour which is to be regarded as unacceptable during a Program shall be determined by National Rugby League Limited.

7. Exclusion of Liability

7.1 Except in the case of fraud, National Rugby League, its associations, employees or volunteers accept no responsibility under any circumstances for any loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, expense or delay suffered or incurred by the Parent, the Participant or any other party arising directly or indirectly or in any way connected with the attendance of the Participant in the Program (or any part of it) or any other act or omission on the part of National Rugby League Limited or any of its associations, employees or volunteers even if such act or omission is negligent.

7.2 The Parent agrees (for and on behalf of the Parent and the Participant) that any claim by the Parent or the Participant against National Rugby League or any association, employee or volunteer of National Rugby League Limited must be brought within 60 days of the event that gave rise to such claim. Any claim made thereafter shall be time-barred.

7.3 The Parent acknowledges, warrants and undertakes (for and on behalf of the Parent and the Participant) that the maximum aggregate liability of National Rugby League Limited to the Parent and/or Participant under these terms shall not exceed the Fee.

7.4 All warranties and conditions whether implied by statute or otherwise are excluded from this contract provided that nothing in this contract shall restrict or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of National Rugby League Limited, its associations, employees or volunteers or affects the statutory rights of the Parent or Participant

8. General

8.1 Any notices to be sent by either party to the other shall be sent by either email, pre-paid recorded delivery/registered post or hand delivered to the address of the relevant party and shall be deemed to have been received by the addressee within 48 hours of posting if sent by post and immediately if hand delivered or sent by email.

8.2 The failure by either party to enforce at any time or for any period any one or more of the obligations arising under these Terms shall not be a waiver of them or of the right at any time subsequently to enforce all the obligations arising under these Terms.

8.3 The Parent, in agreeing to the terms of this contract, consents to the data provided throughout the registration process being shared with other departments and/or entities of National Rugby League Limited.

8.4 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties hereto and supersede all prior agreements and understandings between the parties. It is agreed that no statement, promise or inducement whether written or oral alleged to have been made by either party and which is not contained herein shall be binding or form part of this Agreement.

8.5 This entire agreement shall be governed by Australian Law and shall fall under Australian jurisdiction.
