The NRL Combine is an invitational scouting showcase, designed to discover and evaluate potential NRL talent in North America. Athletes participate in a range of speed, agility, strength and skill-based tests, each designed to assess the athlete’s suitability to play in the NRL. Following the Combine, 4 athletes who meet minimum performance standards and who display the potential to play in the NRL, will be invited to travel to Australia to train for up to two weeks with an elite Rugby League team. All costs associated with travelling to Australia and Vegas will be met by the NRL for selected athletes.

The official NRL Talent Combine will be back in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2025!
25 Male & 25 Female elite athletes will showcase their skills in front of NRL officials for an opportunity of a life-time in Australia.
You could be one of four athletes selected to travel to Australia to train with elite teams to try and earn a professional contract in the NRL or NRLW.

2025 expressions of interest open NOW!
Once you submit your expression of interest form, your application will go to a panel of evaluators who will assess your suitability to attend the Combine. If you are successful, you will be sent an invitation to attend the combine as well as the NRL Combine Athlete Info Pack which will include resources to help you prepare for the event.
