Become a Community Coach

Community Coach Accreditation Courses

The Community Coach accreditation courses are designed to provide coaches with the most contemporary evidence-based knowledge that will assist them to implement positive age-appropriate coaching environments. To become accredited coaches will need to complete an age group specific eLearning Course, followed by a Face to Face Coaching Workshop.

Community Coach e-Learning

The eLearning course will provide coaches with the foundational, age-appropriate knowledge to start coaching. These eLearning courses are the starting point for anyone who is looking to coach a community based Rugby League team.

Community Coach Face to Face Workshop

Once coaches have completed their eLearning course, they are required to register into the relevant Face to Face Workshop to complete their accreditation. Face to Face workshops have been designed around coaches having first hand experience coaching prior to attending.

Any coach who has an expired Modified Games Coach (MGC), International Games Coach (IGC), or Club Coach (CC) qualification is eligible to complete a re-accreditation and transfer over to a qualified Community Coach. Click on the button for more information on how to complete this.
